What is treated at ANEWU's Buckhead office?

Short answer

ANEWU's Buckhead office treats full arch dental implants and oral surgery with Dr. Abtin Shahriari, plus facial aesthetics with Dr. Arshia Payman, MD, and cosmetic dentistry. It is at 3833 Roswell Rd. NE, suite 110A, in the Tuxedo Atrium building in Atlanta, and it does not provide routine hygiene, root canals or general dentistry.

If you have ever wondered whether you have to drive across Atlanta to have implants planned in one place and finished in another, the answer here is no. Buckhead is a working surgical office, not a satellite consultation room. Full arch restoration is kept in house with our own lab rather than referred out, and every plan starts from a 3D scan taken during your first visit.

That matters most for the patients who arrive after being told somewhere else that nothing can be done. Bone volume, sinus position and bite are settled by the scan, not by a guess, and the options that follow are explained in plain language before anything is scheduled.

How do I get to the Buckhead office?

The Buckhead office is at 3833 Roswell Rd. NE, Tuxedo Atrium, suite 110A, Atlanta, GA 30342, on Roswell Road between Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza. It is reached from GA-400 and I-85, and the Google map below opens turn by turn directions from wherever you are.

Buckhead is the walkable centre of Atlanta's north side, which is why this office draws patients from inside the perimeter and from the northern suburbs in roughly equal measure. If the drive in is the part you have been putting off, it is worth knowing that our Cumming office and our Dawsonville office run the same doctors, the same imaging and the same treatment planning.

Who you will see

Who performs implant surgery at the Buckhead office?

Dr. Abtin Shahriari, an oral surgeon specializing in implant dentistry, performs the implant and oral surgery at ANEWU Buckhead. He completed 8 years of specialty training, including the University of Pennsylvania and Emory University. Dr. Arshia Payman, MD leads facial aesthetics at the same office, and the two work from one treatment plan.

Two doctors signing off on one plan is the practical difference here. Teeth, jaw and face move together, so a full arch case changes how the lower third of the face is supported, and planning it without the aesthetic side in the room leaves part of the result to chance.

Not every jaw has the bone volume for a full arch on four implants, and that is a question a 3D scan answers rather than a phone call. Your surgeon will assess this at your consultation, and if grafting or a zygomatic approach is the honest answer, you will hear it then.

Your first visit

What happens at your first visit in Buckhead?

Your first visit to ANEWU Buckhead is a free consultation. The front desk reviews your health history and medications, a 3D scan of your jaw is taken in the office that same day, then Dr. Abtin examines you and explains what your anatomy supports. Nobody is asked to decide on treatment that day.

If you have ever wondered whether a free consultation is just a sales appointment in a nicer chair, here is the honest version. You leave knowing what your own bone can and cannot support, and that answer does not change based on what you decide to do next. Here is what to expect at your first visit, start to finish.

Money is covered in the same conversation rather than saved for later. Treatment options and alternatives are explained in plain language, and implant financing through CareCredit and Proceed Finance is reviewed before anyone asks you to commit.

Yes. There is no cost to meet the team, review your 3D imaging and hear your options at a first visit to ANEWU Buckhead. You are welcome to bring a spouse, family member or friend, and there is no pressure to commit to treatment the same day.

No. Patients can book a consultation at ANEWU Buckhead directly by calling (470) 288-9655 or requesting a visit online. If your dentist did send a referral slip or dental x-rays, bring them along, because they save time at the first appointment.

No. ANEWU is an oral surgery, dental implant and facial aesthetics practice, not a general dental office. The Buckhead location does not provide routine hygiene, endodontics, or crowns as a general practice. Patients keep their own general dentist and come here for surgical, implant and aesthetic care.

Implant cost at ANEWU depends on how many implants your case needs, whether bone grafting comes first, and which restoration is used. Dental insurance typically does not cover implant treatment. ANEWU accepts CareCredit and Proceed Finance, along with Visa, MasterCard and Discover, and can arrange a monthly payment plan.
