Dental Implant Financing and Payment Options in Atlanta, GA
Implant and cosmetic treatment is a real investment, and most dental insurance does not cover it. Here is how ANEWU patients in Buckhead, Cumming and Dawsonville make it work, and what our team can help with.
ANEWU offers three ways to pay for implant treatment: CareCredit and Proceed Finance for major dental work, a monthly payment plan arranged before your procedure, and card payment by Visa, MasterCard or Discover. Dental insurance rarely covers implants. Your full treatment plan and payment options are reviewed together at a free consultation.
Does dental insurance cover dental implants?
Usually not. Most dental insurance plans treat dental implants and cosmetic work as elective, and either exclude them outright or limit what they will pay. ANEWU staff will go through your specific plan with you and tell you plainly what, if anything, it contributes, before you commit to anything.
If you have ever wondered why implant treatment is quoted so differently from a filling or a cleaning elsewhere, insurance is a large part of the reason. Dental benefit plans were built around routine care, and surgical work like full arch dental implants sits outside what most of them were designed to pay for.
That does not put treatment out of reach. It changes where the money comes from. Instead of a benefit that covers most of the bill, the plan is usually a financing program, a monthly payment schedule, or a combination of the two, arranged before anything is scheduled. Our team can also check whether a related step, such as an extraction or bone grafting, falls under your plan even when the implants themselves do not.
Three ways ANEWU patients pay for treatment.
We walk you through every option at your free consultation, and our team is happy to answer insurance and billing questions any time.
CareCredit and Proceed Finance
Both are available for major dental work done in our offices, so treatment can begin without paying the full cost up front.
Monthly payment plans
We can arrange a monthly payment plan directly with you. It is set up before your procedure, not billed to you afterwards.
Cards and insurance billing
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover, and our staff will help you read your insurance and your bill before you commit to anything.
Approval for an outside financing program is a decision made by the lender. Results and terms vary from patient to patient.
Can I finance dental implants with monthly payments?
Yes. ANEWU accepts CareCredit and Proceed Finance for major dental work done in our offices, and can arrange a monthly payment plan directly with you. Either route is set up before your procedure, so you begin treatment already knowing what you owe each month and for how long.
CareCredit
- Offered for major dental work completed in our offices

Proceed Finance

- Also arranged before treatment begins

How much do dental implants cost at ANEWU?
ANEWU does not publish implant prices, because the figure depends on your case: how many implants are needed, whether bone grafting comes first, and which restoration is used. Your treatment plan and what it costs are reviewed with you at your free consultation, before you agree to anything.
Six things move the number for an implant case, and all six come out of the examination rather than a price list:
- How many implants your jaw needs to support the restoration
- Whether any remaining teeth have to be removed first
- Whether bone grafting or a sinus procedure is needed before placement
- Which restoration is planned, from a single crown to a fixed full arch
- Whether one arch is being treated or both
- Whether any part of the work falls under your dental benefits
If you have ever wondered why two people can be quoted very differently for what sounds like the same treatment, this is why. The plan is built from your anatomy, not from a menu, which is also why our new patient FAQs send most cost questions back to the consultation rather than answering them with a figure.
How a payment conversation actually goes at ANEWU
Money comes up in the same visit as the treatment plan, on purpose. Here is the order it happens in.
-
1
You book a free consultation
There is no charge for the first visit, so bring your questions about money to it rather than saving them for later. What to bring and how long to allow is covered in what happens at your first visit.
-
2
Your surgeon examines and scans
Dr. Abtin Shahriari reviews your mouth and takes a 3D scan. Implant count, extractions and whether grafting is needed all come out of that scan, and all three move the cost.
-
3
You see the plan and the options together
The treatment plan and the ways to pay for it are presented in the same conversation. You are never asked to agree to a procedure before you know how it would be paid for.
-

You choose how to pay, before anything is scheduled
CareCredit, Proceed Finance, a monthly plan, a card, or a combination. Whichever you choose is arranged first, and nothing is booked until that part is settled.
Do I have to pay for dental implants up front?
No. Financing through CareCredit or Proceed Finance, or a monthly payment plan arranged with ANEWU, exists so treatment can begin once approval is in place rather than after the full amount is saved. Approval is a decision made by the lender, not by the practice.
If you have ever wondered whether waiting another year to save is the safer choice, it is worth asking your surgeon what that wait costs clinically, not only financially. Bone volume in the jaw changes after teeth are lost, and that can change which treatment is possible later.
That is a question for the consultation rather than for a website. What we can say here is that the money side does not have to be solved before you come in and find out where you stand.
